You may obtain water service by paying a deposit and completing a new service application form at the billing office located at the Town Hall.

For your convenience, you may download the water service application directly here from our website, complete it and bring to our office located at 7801 Alabama Highway 77, Ohatchee, AL  36271.

Meters are billed on a monthly basis.

Reconnect Policy

Billing begins when the meter is set or unlocked.  Since service is now available, a minimum bill will be charged each month even if there is no water usage.  Meters are read and billed monthly, stating the amount due, the delinquent date and the delinquent amount.  Bills are due upon receipt and delinquent after the 15th.  Bills not paid by the delinquent date will be charged a 10% penalty.  If payment is not received by the last day of the month, the meter will be locked; a collector will not come to the door to collect.  After the meter is locked, the past due amount must be paid plus a $50 reconnect fee. This must be paid in cash, certified check or money order.  A returned check is regarded as an unpaid bill. The customer will be charged a $35.00 service charge each time a check is returned.
